Ufuq attends a workshop held by the Iraqi Council of Ministers on elections

 Mr. Wissam Ibrahim Anbar attended a training workshop on conscious participation in the Parliament elections.
The Non-Governmental Organizations Department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers organized a training workshop on the role of civil society organizations in increasing informed participation in the Parliament elections 2021, which was attended by a number of representatives of the relevant authorities.
The workshop, which was held at the guest house in the capital, Baghdad, included a speech by the Director-General of the Non-Governmental Organizations Department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, during which he referred to the efforts of
The Iraqi government on the success of the elections, the importance of citizen participation, and the need to educate the Iraqi voter to cast their vote.
During the workshop, an explanation was given of the importance of the elections, the timetable, and the role of community institutions in increasing electoral participation.
The workshop witnessed a round of open dialogue, in addition to questions and answers by the participants.
The workshop concluded with a number of recommendations to determine the next steps to produce the best results according to modern scientific frameworks. We agreed with the Department of Governmental Organizations on future cooperation by establishing joint activities in cooperation with them.
