Issuing a new training manual in cooperation with the Iraqi Parliament

As a part of its program for developing parliamentary performance, the Ufuq Organization for Human Development and the German Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung / Iraq Office, in cooperation with the Parliamentary Development Institute, issued a guide for trainers of members of the Iraqi parliament, which is the first guide in this field on the scope of the legislative institution. The official signing was held to issue a series of manuals for the parliamentary committees and to develop the work of these committees, and members of the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
During the meeting, which was held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in the institute building, in the presence of the Deputy Secretary-General of the House of Representatives for Administrative Affairs, Mr. Sadiq Al-Muhammadawi, and Mr. Saad Fayyad, Director General of the Parliamentary Development Institute. Discuss ways to enhance cooperation in training parliamentarians and staff in the House of Representatives in various fields.
The Director General of the Institute expressed full readiness to cooperate with the organization in the fields of training and capacity building, expressing his aspiration to strengthen relations, leading to the signing of a memorandum of understanding within the general framework in all fields between the two parties.
